This Privacy Policy explains how GuroHub collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our educator community, messaging, marketplace, onboarding, account, and survey features.

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Account and sign-in data, including your email address and Google-linked profile details used for authentication.
• Profile data, such as your username, real name, school name, DepEd role, avatar, and payout details.
• Community and messaging content, including threads, replies, reactions, chat messages, and notifications.
• Marketplace data, including listings, descriptions, tags, uploaded resource files, preview images, purchases, ratings, and download activity.
• Payment and payout records, including PayMongo payment references, QR payment status, payout method, and payout number.
• Survey responses you submit through our teacher productivity survey.
• Technical and security data, including IP address, user agent, route path, request ID, and session cookie data used for security and audit logging.

We use information to operate and improve GuroHub, including to:

• authenticate users and restrict access to eligible accounts;
• create and manage profiles, threads, chats, listings, purchases, downloads, ratings, and payouts;
• process QRPH payments and maintain transaction records;
• deliver files, support buyer and seller activity, and review platform abuse or disputes;
• protect the platform, investigate misuse, and maintain audit trails for payment and admin actions;
• respond to support, legal, and compliance requests; and
• analyze survey submissions and improve the product for educators.

Some information is visible to other users of GuroHub, such as your profile username, name, school, avatar, threads, replies, public listings, listing previews, ratings, and other content you choose to post in community or marketplace areas.

Direct messages, private uploaded marketplace files, payout details, payment records, and internal audit logs are not intended to be public, except as needed to operate the service, comply with law, or resolve disputes.

We may share information with third-party providers that help us operate GuroHub:

• Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and realtime infrastructure.
• Google for sign-in and related account identity data you authorize during OAuth login.
• PayMongo for payment processing, QRPH payment generation, and transaction handling.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect users, prevent fraud, or respond to valid legal requests.

GuroHub uses cookies and similar session technologies that are needed to keep users signed in, secure requests, and support core product functionality. We do not currently state that we use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral tracking tools in the product.

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain accounts, deliver purchases and downloads, process payouts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, investigate abuse, and enforce our agreements.

Different categories of data may be retained for different periods depending on operational, legal, security, and accounting needs.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure. You are responsible for using your account responsibly and protecting access to your sign-in credentials.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information. You may also update some information directly through your account profile.
